The digital transformation of healthcare has fundamentally changed the way hospitals operate. Modern healthcare facilities increasingly depend on interconnected Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) to support patient care, facility management, medical devices, and hazardous materials handling. While this convergence improves operational efficiency and quality of care, it also creates a significantly expanded cyberattack surface. Unlike conventional cyber incidents that primarily affect data confidentiality or business continuity, cyberattacks against hospital OT and ICS environments may directly impact patient safety, disrupt life-saving medical services, and trigger hazardous material incidents with potentially severe consequences. This paper examines the cyber risks associated with healthcare ICS and OT environments, including hazardous materials management systems, identifies major threat scenarios and their consequences, and proposes a comprehensive defense framework for healthcare organizations
