In this article, I highlighted how Digital Twin technology addresses the challenges of updating and upgrading controllers in production environments, as well as the difficulty of conducting queries or penetration tests on these controllers. The technology essentially allows for the transformation of the physical system into a digital one, enabling controller updates, penetration testing, and more. Once everything is validated in the logical environment and confirmed to be functioning correctly, the system can be safely transitioned back to the production environment.
